This was one of my prototypes for the school project i mentioned in my previous deviation. It's on the whole religion trying to stop the freedom of speech thing. i still have to refine it, but this is what i've got so far.

I suppose I agree. Even if religions encourage peace, they still start wars.

Hmm. Last time I checked, it was groups of atheist scientists who were censoring discussion of any scientific idea that contradicted Darwin's idea of natural selection.

On the other hand, the four staunchest advocates for free speech that I've ever known are two Jews, a Catholic priest, and a Baptist minister.

Your pic is dangerous.

You just compare catholics religion with
Nazism; This go much further than then fact
that the new pope had been in

and that is a non believing who say that...

People always takes religion for the cause of wars,
misery.

But human doesn't need religion to make war and violence.Each time there is a difference between
people it can create tenions because human, in one
way, protects his territory.

Look:
Racism => Violence because people are not tolerant
Xenophobia => same
Money => aahh money..; this is sure
etc...

Religion in past was link to bad things that's right
but this is always humans who act.

In your pic we can understand that you think religion is
in part responsible of what happen...

Donc forgot Hitler arrived at power by vote because a whole people, German, were humbled and plunged into a grave crisis; Versailles's treaty contained yet the begining of the second world war. (and it's French who says that...);

Religion can make people believe some pretty stupid things.
Such as the idea the everything was created by some omnipotent being who made a woman made out a rib that instilled evil into all of us by accepting fruit from a talking snake in a tree and that the evil from that action has to be extinguished by obeying some Jewish zombie.
I thought about that when I was being "taught about religion", Thinking makes you realize things, such as "how the hell did anybody believe this in the first place?"

everyone was just gullible back in the day i guess. that and people just naturally fear death, so they needed something to not be afraid of, hence the happy eternity after death; if you're not evil, that is. i mean if people need that to feel comfort, then i'm fine with that, as long as they dont impose on my own beliefs.
